It seems like many books in immigration procedures for the United States are very complex and almost seem to be written for lawyers.  Often, these books fail to provide a realistic view of your immigration options and how best to proceed in accomplishing your goals.  Depending on how many people will be applying for residency status, you will want to make sure that you get the proper paperwork completed.  This might include a marriage certificate translation and other forms of identification.  For example, applicants are often asked to show signs of their academic achievements through a high school diploma translation.  Others may be asked to provide a divorce decree translation.  But regardless of the type of certificate, these are easily acquired and inexpensive.
